Come and see what rare is up to at our Springbank Community Gardens. Newcomer or not, our Gardens Coordinator, Amanda Newell will show you around and make you feel at home. Join Amanda to discover our newly designed education gardens, square-foot gardening, passive rain collection and irrigation, alternative planting methods, and much more. She will also be leading a workshop on square-foot gardening and why it is “all the rage.” You will learn the skills needed to create square-foot gardens in your own backyard. Please ensure that you have proper footwear to walk over uneven terrain.
